Grilled Herb Pork Chops

Ingredients

4 thick cut butterfly pork chops

The Rub

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon oregano

1/2 teaspoon thyme

dash cayenne pepper

The Basting Sauce

1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard

2 tablespoons water

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon oregano

1/4 teaspoon thyme

dash cayenne pepper

Directions

Mix all the dry rub ingredients and set aside

Mix all the basting sauce ingredients and set aside

Wash and dry the pork chops

Rub the chops on both sides with the prepared rub

Refrigerate the rubbed chops for 3 hours

Bring the chops to room temperature before grilling

Put the chops on a hot grill and turn every 10 minutes, basting the chops every time you turn them

Grill the chops until they reach an internal temperature of 169 degrees

Remove the chops and cover with foil and let set for 10 minutes during that time the internal temperature will reach 170 degrees and the chops will be done.
