Ingredients

3 (15 ounce) cans Pork and Beans (drain 2 of the cans)

6 slices bacon

1 large onion, chopped

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup dark molasses

1/2 cup ketchup

1 teaspoon mustard

6 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

dash hot sauce (to taste)

Directions

Chop 3 slices of the bacon into bite size pieces and brown it in a medium skillet.

Add the chopped onions and cook the onions until clear.

In a medium mixing bowl add the 2 cans of drained Pork and Beans and the 1 other can that has not been drained. Add the brown sugar, molasses, ketchup, mustard, vinegar and hot sauce. Mix well.

Stir the bacon and onion mixture into the bean mixture and mix well.

Pour the mixture into a medium size baking dish and place the remaining 3 slices of bacon on top.

Bake in a 325 degree oven for 1 to 1-1/2 hour. The longer you cook it the thicker it will be because the liquid will cook down.

Enjoy!
