Cranberry Turkey Ring

Ingredients

2 cups turkey or chicken, cooked and chopped

2 cups fresh spinach leaves, chopped

7 ounces Swiss Cheese, chopped in small pieces

1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 teaspoon poultry season

1/2 teaspoon thyme leaves

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pepper

1/8 teaspoon cayenne

2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls, (8 ounce each)

Directions

Place the cooked chopped turkey or chicken into a large mixing bowl.

Add the chopped spinach, chopped cheese, cranberry sauce, mayonnaise, poultry season, thyme, salt and peppers. Stir this mixture until completed mixed well.

Place the crescent dough onto a round stone or a round baking pan. Place the dough so it forms a circle and the tips are hanging off the baking dish. (see photo above)

Spoon the filling onto the wide part of the dough close to the center.

Gently bring the tips over the filling and tuck under the ring to seal.

Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes until just golden brown.

Remove from oven and cool for 10 minutes before serving or moving to serving dish.

Serve with Cranberry Sauce on the side.
