Blackberry Ice Cream Dessert

Ingredients

1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Pinch salt

2 cups fresh blackberries

2 cups heavy cream, cold

6 slices angel food cake loaf, from the bakery

1 cup Spicy Blackberry Jam

Fresh Blackberries and mint for garnish

Directions

In a large mixing bowl, pour in the sweetened condensed milk.

Stir in the vanilla and salt.

Add the fresh blackberries and stir.

In a 9 X 5 X 3 inch metal loaf pan, place 3 slices of the cake.

Layer 1/2 of the ice cream and fruit mixture on top of the cake.

Spoon 1/2 cup of the Spicy Blackberry Jam down the center of the ice cream mixture.

Swirl the jam into the ice cream using a wooden skewer.

Repeat the layer, with cake, ice cream and jam, then swirl the jam.

Cover the pan with plastic wrap and place in the freezer for 24 hours.

Remove the ice cream from the freezer and run a warm knife around the pan to loosen the edges.

Flip onto a serving dish.

Garnish with fresh blackberries and mint.

Slice the loaf for serving and enjoy!
