– You and your team did amazing work, Brian. I want to caution today’s creators that some of the issues reproduce newspaper strips and so inherit the copyright attributes of those strips. For example, the four Popeye books (17, 26, 43 and 70) all reprint Thimble Theatre strips from the 1930s and 1940s that are presumably still copyrighted and therefore shouldn’t be reprinted without authorization.
