Second consecutive day of needing no jacket.

73rd St. “Be happy” graffito in front of מרים Ct. (8758–59), the second I’ve noticed in a series of graffiti with decidedly pleasant messages.

Went to W’greens, Northern Blvd., for more milk chocolate truffle hearts and peanut butter hearts (18:28) and saw the cashier I’ll describe as “rugged” rather than the one I’d hoped to see. Decided to go to JI but needed an a.t.m. to do so and realized the closest one in my network was in the shop I’d just left, so I returned to W. only to be denied cash (18:33). I then walked to 7 11 and got cash successfully (6223–24).

Short, pretty hot waiter at JI. Former building neighbor Greg, his wife and his annoying daughter turned out to be in the adjacent booth, and the two adults were friendly to me. Had αυγολέμονο/terbiye soup for the first time. Possibly the first time I’ve been dissatisfied with the food there, the pot roast had a tasty sauce but was dry, not juicy or fatty enough, and it was called “Yankee pot roast” despite coming with potato pancakes and red cabbage. I had half of the meal packed to take home but made sure to eat the rice pudding while still there (8760–62).

Went to CVS but decided not to buy sweets there after asking the hot S. Asian cashier whom I have previously photographed whether I would need a club card to get the discount, and he was distracted by a personal telephone call in progress.

As I was entering the building, gorgeous निखिल was exiting with his wife and held the door for me.
