After stopping at a Korean or Japanese place on St. Mark’s Pl. where we decided not to eat, A’tha, A’drew D., J’than M. and I went to Веселка (4309–16), Second Ave., where we sat at the counter that the person who seated us called “the bar.” I ordered their ковбаса “hero” (4313) which was really just a sandwich, and the “baguette” whereon it came was just a bun. I was on the line for the bathroom with an owner or manager of the place and joking about how to shorten the times those ahead of us occupied said bathrooms. Nice long discussion with J. A’drew left a little earlier than the rest of us to catch a train to NJ. The waiter had overheard my mention of having been there a number of times in the 1990s and then commented thereon as we were leaving.
Tipsy A’tha abruptly fled from me and J. to spin Alamo, Astor Pl., with strangers, initially in the wrong direction (4317).
A’tha loudly rambled on the 4 about her reactions to different drugs. Workers in E. 23rd St. sta. (4318). Arches, Towers, Pyramids, E. 42nd St. sta. tunnel (4319).
