– Israelis pronounce qof as /k/ and prefer it for transliterating foreign words over kaf, but obviously I take issue with that. 🙂 (11 Aug.)
– Apparently, just like ISIS has tarnished the name of a perfectly lovely Egyptian goddess, now we cannot use the word ‘ikhwan’ without thinking of the Muslim Brotherhood. (11 Aug.)
