The third alumnus to die this summer, Timothy Fischetti was a member during the BiGLYNY years and was also my neighbor here in Queens. A family member wrote …

“At 7:12 PM my cousin Timothy Fischetti passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and friends. He was an amazing young man, with the soul of an angel. I will remember your kindness to others and your ability to give all of yourself to whoever needed it.

“I thank you all for your messages, texts and phone calls…they meant a lot to my family. Rest in the sweetest peace Timmy.”

• – Tim was one of the models in GMHC’s landmark advertising campaign of 1993.

• – I’m still stunned by the news. He was one of the first high‐profile members to enter the group after it became BiGLYNY. We got together after I moved to Jackson Heights, but I probably haven’t seen him since 2008 or 2009. ☹
