Second Ave. JRP with the remaining GA. ياسر‎‎ said goodby very shortly after entering and then there were five of us (Andr., Brad., חנוך, Jon. and me). Only four of us fit in a booth so I sat in a chair at the end of the table, somewhat blocking people’s ways. ח.‏ ordered “cabernet and French fries” which sounded like a strange drink. The place was too loud to have much good conversation, so we wound up watching too much television, but B. invited us back to his place. We were able to have better conversation on the street and in the subway station after we left the bar. ח.‏ and I stuck together and he took a selfie with me on the Q platform, and on the Q he asked me if I were going to B.’s as if my presence would be relevant.

W. 31st St. My smartphone ran out of power as I was trying to check in online in B.’s building. I did not partake of the קנאביס but I enjoyed spending time with the guys. For a time, A. lost the ability to operate the cigarette lighter, and J. became extremely talkative. We all left, including the host, shortly after 04:00, and ח.‏ caught a car home.

W. 32nd St. The remaining four of us went to Café R where A. and B. had pizza and potato chips, and J. told us how pleased he was with his reaction to the substances he’d been using. He also found my verbal one‐word reaction (“Hello!”) to an attractive fellow customer very funny. The multilingual Thank you signs on the walls had “شكرا جزيلا” erroneously written from left to right with the letters, along with those of Hindi and probably Bengali, not in their proper contextual forms. (There was no text in the Hebraic script.) B. kept trying to feed me potato chips.

J. and I boarded the F together and as usual parted ways in the Roosevelt Ave. station.

73rd St. That same adorable young worker was sweeping up, but this time outside Jaks rather than therewithin.

Roosevelt Ave. (1179). While my smartphone was recharging at home, I went to both the nearby supermarkets in Woodside: first Ass’d/কাওরান (06:10), where میجان‎‎ was my cashier, for meatloaf, chunk cheese and sliced turkey, then the 🔑F‐connected one (06:43) for fruit “salad” and cut pineapple. There was a pretty hot deliveryman outside the latter as I left.

72nd St. (1180, 1185). Saw quite the fit and attractive man walking with whom I presume to be his wife and child; I didn’t have my camera ready but thought about how, attractive as he is, I have access to pictures of equally attractive men that are better than any pictures I myself could take.

37th Ave. Went to DR to get another bag of the deluxe mixed nuts that had impressed me so much the day before. سيف was there. My cashier (205) liked my “चाँदनी” shopping bag, but when she saw that I usually hang it from my shoulder with the picture against my person rather than on display, she instructed me to “oppose it.” I was unsuccessful in documenting the handsome if skinny S. Asian man posing in front of the שלם (‎1181–84).
