My birthday (28 Kislew) on the rabbinic calendar.

Saw Cor. working in front of the building, even seductively bending over, and greeted him, but he did not notice me at all and was probably listening to earphone music. Saw and greeted a tall attractive man walking with bags on 72nd St.; might that have been Pete? I went to McD., Roosevelt Ave., to get money in part for my (late) Xmas boners bonus for Cor. Tree branches against the sky on 76th St. (8452).

Bacon, egg and Münster cheese sandwich and a Salsalito turkey (SLS TK or TR) and Swiss cheese sandwich (8457) from KL. The cashier may or may not have been the same one as last time; he’d be attractive were he not chubby (as would I) and that pretty hot Latin one (6188) who handed me my food last time was there too. There’s also an E. Asian worker there who reminded me of a cross between Mike N. of CI and Jonathan M. of GA. “Now hiring!” sign (8453). Clouds and airplane streak (8454–56).

Saw and greeted Cor. again in the lobby on my return, and this time he heard me.

Later went out looking for discount Christmas sweets.

Peanut M & M’s, a milk‐chocolate “orange” and pie‐flavored trail mix from W’greens. Handsome sweet Al’m was my cashier (6189–93) and he placed my purchases into my reusable shopping bag. I stepped aside before leaving to arrange my bills in my wallet and he came out from behind the register to fetch the vacuum cleaner, so we were supposedly not paying attention to one another, but as soon as I finished my arrangement and started to leave, he sweetly said goodbye to me and my heart melted.

Holiday shortbread cookies from RA, 37th Ave. Approaching from the west, I had to pass their 82nd St. entrance and enter at 83rd St. Then I needed to walk nearly all the way back to the 82nd St. entrance to pick up the cookies at their display. Then I needed to walk back to the 83rd St. entrance to pay and leave. Then I needed to walk back to the 82nd St. entrance (on the outside, of course) to walk home. While there though, I photographed the fallen Xmas bears (8458–59).
