Ended a three‐day fast.
R’velt Parc as viewed from 72nd St. (4698–4702).
Roosevelt Ave. (4703). A cat squeezed itself backwards under a temporary wooden wall to get away from me. Rôtisserie chicken, spicy meat ends, “chicken and salad” and a pound of fried pork skins from Ass’d/কাওরান. میجان did not know what a circular was. “Been salad” (4703). A trashy tranny with big hair was talking to herself at 70th St.
72nd St. (4704–09). More of RP (4704, 4706–07). Drooping sign at نورانی (4705). Blurry crosswalk birds that didn’t fly away as interestingly as I’d hoped when the light changed (4708). “Chicken and salad” lid (4709).
I saw Shaz. switch places with Kl’d as cashier when I was in DR, 37th Ave., to use their a.t.m.
I unsuccessfully looked for a computer keyboard in various local discount shops, one on 37th Ave. and two on Roosevelt Ave. The man entering C & S, 37th Ave., ahead of me stopped me and told me the shop was closed. It was after dark, so my camera was in my pocket, but I did see various things I may have wanted to photograph, like construction, someone spray‐painting a sidewalk kiosk etc.
Saw D. Dromm speaking in the Jewish Ctr. as I passed it on 77th St.
37th Ave. Bought a $27 keyboard at خان Electronics where it was ridiculously crowded and cramped with only a few people but plenty of merchandise lying around. Saw two handsome workers in सागर/সাগর as I passed, one a busboy, the other a host.
This was likely the day I saw the same wheelchair man as I saw on Independence Day, but sitting in the middle of the sidewalk in front of ঢাকা Gard. rather than FD.
