JH G’market. Was this the Sunday I saw Shek’r, wife and baby or was it the prior?

Five in attendance for EHSQ at Garden Sch. תאומא and Pr’tip returned and I gave תאומא a condolence card. Babu was there discussing the election problems in his Bengali Christian organization (প্রবাসী).

Hispanic parade. Dark chocolate quest. During the parade, I visited Walgreens to look for discount dark chocolate, photographing the S. Asian cashier with big hair (6786–87, 6101–07), but wasn’t quite satisfied with what I found, and so left to visit multiple chain drug stores in the area for larger bargains. Not photographed was a handsome worker named Ab, whose name apparently means father. Police officers moving barricades on Northern Blvd. (6794–97) and 34th Ave. (6798–99).

72nd St. Silhouette man (6800). Blue‐shirt man (6801–07).

37th Ave. Group of young South Asians in DR (6808–12). Other blue‐shirt man (6813–14). I got caught behind an East Asian couple who were walking very slowly abreast. When I was able to pass them, I walked even more slowly while in front of them, pretending to be interested in a sidewalk sale across the street. The woman addressed me by name and it turns out they were Riko and Kazu from MP. I walked with them to 82nd St. discussing our vocations and avocations, and I thought he said fruit when in fact he said flute. As is so often the case when I run into friends rather than strangers, I neglected to photograph them.

Hunky man with white shirt (6815) on 83rd St.

Friendly slender man (6816) in RA, Northern Blvd. Man in sweater two shades of blue (6817). Fit E. Asian in “Free bear hugs” t‐shirt (6818–20). Young man in white(?) shirt (6821). Black–tank‐top man (6822–23). Finding nothing better elsewhere, I returned to the very same Walgreens as before and bought plenty of discount dark chocolate. Blurry young customer with big hair (6100). Sexy customer (6101–07) on line ahead of me bought cigarettes and provided identification with his passport. The same cashier was quite sweet and told me how the computer system had been problematic all day.

Commentary

– It was intriguingly ambiguous. Was he bringing flowers on a date? or perhaps to a funeral? But because they were individually wrapped, I guessed he was selling them. (15:28)
