GA DA by Lee, pt. 2.
Walked home from Astoria, but on the way bought one chocolate bar (with almonds) and got another (fruit and nut) free at DR, Steinway St., impressing the cashier who was wearing Xmas lights around her neck like my friend in DR JH has done.
Ran into F’town to get eggs and a pumpkin pie but had to settle for sweet potato (12:45). Thought I could get out quickly, but I always wind up on a slow checkout line, and this time, the customer ahead of me apparently loudly tipped over a cash box that another cashier must have left perched precariously at the end of my aisle, and so that was a substantial further delay as money was being picked up off the floor.
KLD for a turkey and cheese sandwich. A cute new worker took my order and and an even more attractive one handed me my food.
Christmas Eve/ערב חנכה.
Trying to take advantage of E. Asian businesses that are open Christmastime, I went to E21 for wonton egg‐drop soup and a Godzilla roll. My smartphone ran out of power there and did not get a sufficient enough recharge to be used again until I was nearly home. (See cyan clothbound A6+ Clairefontaine notebook, 26 Dec.)
I saw and greeted that handsome cubbish neighbor in the produce section of F’town on a recent visit thereto, likely either 20 or 24 December.
