2015 November 4

(AM) Food Dynasty already seems to be off to a bad start by misleading their customers. They state on multiple signs that they’re open till 01:00, but I was locked out when I arrived at 00:40. The manager let me in through the exit after I knocked on the window. He told me I should make it fast, but really, they should make it slower. There were no more almonds at Jaks Corner, if that’s still their name.

I brought some non‐perishable, non‐recyclable trash to the basement, but a worker was painting the wall right near the superintendent’s apartment, blocking the way enough that I couldn’t leave the building via the basement.

Sensational day. Autumn colors and autumn leaves everywhere, yet warm enough not to need to wear a jacket. I walked to Long Island City to buy a camera and shot many photos with my smartphone camera.

Photos of trees on 35th Avenue between 64th and 65th streets. Flowers at 61‒11 Broadway and at large building between 60th and 61st streets. Broken car at Broadway and 56thStreet, in front of Citgo. Empty site where Auto Palace used to be, 53‒21 Northern Boulevard. Attempt of attractive men in front of Major, 50‒30 Northern Boulevard.

Redeemed bottles at Stop & Shop.

(PM) They did not have the camera I wanted at Best Buy.

Perhaps because I didn’t want to go home empty‐handed, I bought (super) ninja and two‐headed dragon action figures, both blue, at Deals, 51‒02 Northern Boulevard.

Photos on the walk home: Trees at Sergeant Collins Triangle. More at 35th Avenue between 64th and 65th streets. Men working at 35th Avenue and 65th Street.

{Not finding the camera I wanted, I bought action figures in another store. The blue dragon was prettier than the green plus had two heads. 🐲 (Tw)}

Saw Corey T. go into Food Dynasty. Carlos wished me good night in Foodtown. Cute men in the supermarket, anonymous gays and gays I knew on the streets. Saw Rodrigo S. at 37th Avenue and 73rd Street, and he said he’d send me pictures of myself. {…}
