1. (AM) 89th Street Trade Fair for no’in’ but salad, part two. Thought the cashier was kind of cute, but the receipt said “YOUR CASHIER WAS FRONT.”

7. Queens Lesbian and Gay Pride Committee meeting at the Jewish Center of Jackson Heights. The new Due Fratelli with Gary G., Murdoch M. and Julian W. Met their old friend Ken who was coincidentally sitting at another table.

9. Progressive Gay Men at the Botanical Garden. Met Jim G. and Canadian Dean R. Passed condemned building at 150 West 14th Street. Fur Ball. Met Marc K. משה although he seemed to know exactly who I was and that I knew Ted K.

10. (AM) “Yo! Mama” or “Yo Mamma!,” Tubway: Black to the Future at Mr. Black, which appears to be the same place as Rebel NYC, with Hugh F. I’m a Mountain Jew!

11. (AM) Chicken اچاری (अचारी, আচারী) and garlic نان (नान) at Phalwan پہلوان. Saw beginning of Game (1993) with drag song.

12. Bought an electric shaver at Rite Aid, 47‒07 Broadway, Astoria/Long Island City. Was greatly helped by sexy R.J. Hernández who had colored hair, a gentle, gay voice, and a delicious posterior off of which I could not take my eyes each time he walked away to visit the stock room.

17. Jackson Heights Food Group at Fiesta Mexicana, 75‒02 Roosevelt Avenue, Elmhurst. Met Peruvian foodie María, Jen with eyeglasses, her Asian roommate Sarah and owner Mauricio Parroquín. Steve M. and Karen H. returned.

18. Delhi Palace for yummy, spicy چنا ساگ (चना साग) and finally a good buffet.

21. QLGPC May mixer at Terraza. Met Natalia L., Rosemary G., Arturo A. who took pictures, Tom T., Sarah W.’s friend Diana, Andrew R.’s census coworker Lewis from Hong Kong, bartender Willy.

22. Walked to Lavish in Astoria. Out Astoria May mixer. Met Ethan F.’s friends blond Warren and tall Tom B. who wound up kissing one another later, as well as sexy Frank with the nelly voice whom I noticed before; also Jonathan’s blond friend whose name I don’t recall. Jono J., Jonathan B., Andrew R., Chris C., Sebastian M., David S., Bill J., Ibrahim Z. who called me “Elyaqim,” Fred A., Ethan F., Chap D., Michael M., Paul N., Jason O., Eugene L., Braden.

23. Czech and Slovak Festival at Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden. Met Jonathan A. Daniel F. took pictures. Encountered Troy and Phil exiting the elevator on our floor with two older ladies.

Met apparently coupled Jim and Gary; Filipino Fernando “Andy” who lives in Woodside, and his two Filipino friends from Brooklyn, Martín frequently chatting on his mobile, and handsome, lively Clint; other Jim; Elias R. Five whom I first met at Pequeña Colombia 27 February: Stephen E., Ray (Buck Kodo), Paraguayan David, Pablo, Brian Cincinnati. Also present: Alfonso Q., Amadeo S., Donatello A., Dylan H., Jeffrey R.‐H., Kelvin G., Mark R., Matias W., Neal S., Paul Z. Bar los Recuerdos: Arturo, Eric and ??, Steven.
