Photos: Bruson workers (1358–63); so‐so blue‐trouser man at 75th St. (1364); South Asians passing in front of FD (1365–67); blurry man walking out therefrom with bags (1368); failure to get red‐hoody man at 77th St. (1369); blurry blue‐shirt man between 77th and 78th streets (1370–71).

Chatted with Rob R. for a short stretch of 37th Avenue. Waved to Carl E. and Richard M. (at 77th Street?)

Photos: video of musician (1372) at 78th Street in front of Apple; failure to adequately get very cute man, probably between 77th and 78th streets (1373–75).

Habib Electronics did not have cotton mattress protectors. Familiar‐looking man (gay South Asian?) and I greeted one another.

Photo: Kakatua (কাকাতুয়া) Agency signs, 37‒31 77th St. (1376).

Stanley’s Home Furnishings also did not have cotton mattress protectors. Home décor place had them along with an extremely talkative cashier. Photographed other worker there and fellow gay customers (5098–5112). Un‐photographed: striking young man in tight jeans at whom I was staring on Roosevelt Avenue, adorable smiling man and man with nice nose on 82nd Street between 37th and Roosevelt avenues, all mentioned mostly because the home décor worker was less worth my attention. None of the three drug stores I visited had their Christmas sweets marked as being at a discount. (… At Walgreens, they turned out not to be after I had waited quite a while on line; at Rite Aid on Northern Boulevard, they turned out to be.) Crotchety, argumentative old man at Peking Kitchen who claimed that the restaurant is obliged by law to list the prices of the uncombined versions of their dishes on their posted list of combination plates.

Photos: Yuletide lights at 34‒44 82nd St. (1377–79); “Fresh produde [sic]” sign at Mi Tierra, Northern Blvd. (1380–81); cute young man at W (5113).

A check on Google Maps street view shows that Mi Tierra Supermarket on Northern Boulevard has been advertising “Fresh produde” on their awning since at least 2012.

(On a text post in the Public Domain Heroes group) – Thank you, and welcome to my fellow newbies. I have been posting on the Public Domain Super Heroes wiki and, with the permission of the moderators and administrators here, wanted to share content in this Facebook group too, mostly on pre–Golden Age public‐domain adventure heroes, fantasy characters and their supporting characters. I was thinking of starting a photo album here that focuses on these older characters.
