Second day of חנכה.

Beginning of the third day of חנכה.

I went to 💲🌳, Northern Blvd., with a short shopping list but they not one of the items I wanted. I bought a single nylon mesh body‐scrubber when I wanted to get a multipack, plus also bought food: two boxes of granola bars and two cans of Viennese‐sausage bites. An annoying young woman made everyone on my line wait while she asked cashier Su where the “table things” were, clarifying that she meant table covers (“tablecloths”) after the cashier asked. They are in the very first aisle and she would have found them right away had she not been so lazy as to delay other customers by asking a busy cashier rather than just looking.

I then went to GB, 48th St., and entirely forgot to check in. There was a small group of young men, some of them not so unattractive actually, but one of them was a loud, annoying fat boy (looking around fourteen or so) who loudly shuffled his feet and annoyed everyone. He seemed to think it was okay to be repeatedly and loudly demanding of the workers so long as he loudly said “Sir” and “Excuse me.” He apparently had some question and was standing outside the kitchen doors virtually shouting “Excuse me! Excuse me! Excuse me!” rather than just approaching someone else, and then later he alerted the “waiter” to a mess he’d made on the floor, probably from throwing or dropping food. He saw my dagger eyes, and one of the times he walked past my table, I called him a loudmouth. He may have thought I’d not intended he hear me, and he calmly told me on his way back not to call him a loudmouth. I was feeling my masculinity and testosterone and so bluntly told him that the best way to avoid being called a loudmouth is not to be one. I think I even gave him an additional sentence or two about how annoying he was. The tasty nighttime food combined with my unintimidated response made me feel real good.

I took no photos all day.
