24. Returned to taking a constitutional after many months, despite my new sciatica. The walk was achy but acceptable. Photos on 72nd Street.

Knee started to ache at diner and on train home.

26. Went to doctor’s office to make an appointment but was told to have a seat. Then I was called and told to fill out a visit slip so I thought they’d actually see me that day. Then I was called again and told I didn’t have an appointment that day (as if I didn’t know) and so was given a Saturday appointment.

27. I was lumbering around the apartment thinking about my sciatica pain but, as usual, became ninety percent fine once I got out walking. Returned to doctor’s office to change the appointment I’d made the day before. Got toyuq şiş from the cart on 37th Avenue and 74th Street and saw a woman with an SLR taking pictures. (I doubt I’ll see them or recognize them as hers should I see them, but she stood in front of Toronto-Dominion Bank and pointed her camera eastward along 37th Avenue toward 74th Street, possibly photographing the back of a South Asian woman.) Photo on 37th Avenue.
