22 July 2017, Saturday

The day was characterized by friendly workers who made me feel good.

35th Ave. Smashed toilet and sleeping man under the BQE.

Northern Blvd. I couldn’t find anything to buy at 💲🌳 except rinds and facial tissues but was impressed by how happy and friendly cashier Su was; not only was she smiling and very friendly to me but she was very pleased when a coworker entered. (“It’s Elaine! Hi, Elaine!”)

48th St. I found myself not able to eat as much as usual (though I still ate plenty) at GB (1232) despite their having their special weekend evening fare out, including much fish and seafood. Most of my fellow customers were well behaved but there was a boy literally riding a push scooter down the aisles while his family and the workers said nothing of it. As he was about to come down my aisle again, I stood up to obstruct his path and he was proficient enough to avoid collision. My water‐bearer and dish‐clearer was very friendly and did her (albeit limited) job well. As I was about to leave and she could clearly see that the gratuity I was leaving was closer to ten percent than twenty, she nevertheless broadly smiled and said goodby. It occurred to me the attention‐grabbing hot worker would look much less remarkable were he not so intentionally muscular and wore he not his shirt so unbuttoned, though I was nevertheless attracted to him. He also seemed to be looking at me as I was walking out.

Northern Blvd. (1233–34).

Someone was doing maintenance or yard work at the grey alien’s house, B’way.

After quite an absence, Mart. was again smoking in front of the building and looking rather scruffy.
