(AM) Went out for a walk to play with my new camera, taking pictures of anything and anyone that caught my eye. Had a leisurely breakfast at K & L and sat by their picture window to take in the sight of neighbors passing by and photograph some of them. Also photographed some of their customers and workers, including an attractive man who took my order but then also apparently went out to make deliveries.
(PM) Shortly thereafter, I went to Due Fratelli and the only occurrence of note was when two customers arrived at the same time but were surprisingly not together. They were talking at the same time but on their phones rather than to one another and continued to have these conversations from their seats as I chewed on my Buffalo chicken slice.
Photos of: Construction at Caffè Bene. Emotive men at 37th Avenue and 78th Street. Jackhammer work at 74th Street and 37th Avenue. Man too fast for me on 72nd Street between 35th and 37th avenues.
So yesterday I wore my grandmother’s old tablecloth with the teacup and teapot pattern to New York Bear Den’s first toga party, and I won the award for “Sexiest Toga in History.” 🎉 (G+, Tu, F)
Poor photo of legs in the window of Jaks Corner.
At night, I went to Indian Taj, and the usual gorgeous waiter was there, and he remembered and greeted me when I went to the rear to wash my hands. He seemed in good spirits, and I got to hear him say “Excuse me” with a smile on his face to some customers who were walking away. When they turned around, he continued to smile and bent at the knees to pick up some article of clothing they’d left behind. The chicken makhani was tough, the nan had too much baking powder, and there were no samosas. There were a number of gays present (one of whom spoke loudly and reminded me a bit of Dennis from the QPH men’s group) and a number of attractive customers, but only a small overlap of those two categories. There was a large East Asian party in the rear with two tall slender men I found appealing, one of whom wore a pink shirt that mentioned Spirit Day and said something like “Real men wear pink” on it, and the other was quite the stunner and whom I captured on video looking a little less than stunning in playback.
