שבת.‏

Second Ave. (2078–88). Having stuck around too long by Rich S., I walked quickly down Second Ave. to catch up with the others. Er’k had stopped in DRH (while L’ke waited outside) to get the credit card I was told he had left there the prior weekend. P’rose. Kor. asked me (for a friend) if Er’k is gay, and I said no despite how much he discusses musicals with me. I was told Rich S. had encountered C’li on the street but she couldn’t get in because she was too intoxicated. We managed to get a table by the front window, and sure enough there she was standing by the curb and wavering as if the wind could knock her over. A’tha’s paper creations (2078–81). Jon. showed up, having missed the entire event by Rich. K’von and I each had a hamburger (2083) while others got drinks. A happy Rich S. was dancing both inside (2085) and out (2086). Telling us about a recent problem of his, Jon. said “My car broke down,” but it sounded to me like “My horrible gout.” The listing on the chalkboard for OMMEGANG RARE VOS looked in my peripheral vision like it said “gang rape” (2087–88) and M’tch agreed. Photos by M’tch (incl. precious shots of A’tha posing with paper flowers in her hair), Jon. (incl. of Rich S. dancing outside and of the chalkboard) and K’von (incl. a group shot of me, Jon., Kor. and himself).

Q with Jon. and K’von.

Sleeping man and sexy companion on the 7 in 74th St. sta. (6435–36). New restaurant Prince (2089), 74th St., looks far less classy than its predecessors in the same space.

37th Ave. Checked in at JC not knowing they had no more peanuts in shells and that therefore I’d buy nothing. My smartphone ran out of power before I could check in at اپنا بازار where I actually bought things (strawberries for a dollar a pound, sour cream and peanuts) (04:42).

מוצאי שבת.‏ Lobby memo re elevator (2090).

37th Ave. (2091–95). Smiling happy cashier at اپنا بازار (‎2091–92). Latin gay men in FD were embracing one another in an aisle as I passed, one standing behind the other, and when I looked again were still being physically affectionate, but were walking away, albeit still with their arms around one another, by the time I got my camera ready (2093). We were on different cashier lines at the same time, but I wound up leaving before they did even though they’d got on line a bit before I did. Sliced packaged Turkey, chicken salad and cheese ends (23:32). Other attractive men in the streets as it was, after all, Satur. night. Woman with green hair in DR (2094–95).
