Fasting day.

Mart. was in front of the building as I walked out and he as usual decidedly ignored me. Because I needed to use an a.t.m. first, I walked down 65th St. to 65th Pl. and it worked out very well. Men hanging new signage at Bravo (6971–77). The white‐shirt worker carrying the ladder asked me with a big smile if the photos were for Facebook. Work in front of Cath. Charities (6978–86).

Queens Blvd. Trees that caught my eye (6987). Unusually dressed old black man said “God bless” to me as we passed one another. I got my camera ready to photograph my favorite 7 11 worker and he wasn’t there! Nevertheless I photographed my second favorite (6988, 6114–16). I was thinking there was no one else really worth photographing when a hot man walked in just as I was about to walk out. I held the door for a man in a wheelchair who was also exiting.

DT. Bought another tall orange mug (for my shaver), frozen fish filets and plenty of sweets for Sunday, but also a dinosaur hat and a pencil pouch for use at NYBD. The ḥijabiyya cashier was very friendly and asked if I liked the pound of frozen vegetables I was buying and complimented my red “चाँदनी” handbag and didn’t comment on all the pork rinds. The paper first‐aid tape turned out to work very well in holding plastic bandage strips onto my combat‐boot wounds.

Roosevelt Ave. Mattress‐truck men (6989). New Bravo signs in place (6990). Man in horizontal sidewalk doorway (6991–93). “Live band” blackboard (6994).

72nd St. Man working on hasp (6995). Handsome car men (6996–7000).

I was eager to get out again and take my const. and returned feeling alert and productive. That fairly attractive, possibly gay neighbor whom I haven’t encountered in a long while was exiting as I entered.

Commentary

– Congrats. Will Beardy Hotness at least be under you? 😉 (15:47)

– I wasn’t aware you’d moved on. (16:15)

– Will and Steve, might you consider returning? Our early Halloween event will be Sunday. (16:31)

– Shoot away. There’s one Denizen who hides from cameras, but Audie, John P., Carlin and I usually take plenty of photos. (17:07)
