2015 November 13

Friday the 13th.

I visited the urologist’s office to tell them they never ordered the radiological tests they were supposed to. I saw Michael M. through Danny D.’s window both times I walked past. I’m again trying to juggle simultaneously carrying two cameras and still trying to make spot decisions on when to use which.

Gotham Atheists’ Drinking with Atheists event at Harry’s and Maria’s apartment in Murray Hill, Manhattan.

I brought a lot of meat to Harry’s and Maria’s place (all the meat that we had, I believe, other than the hot dogs) and Lee grilled, as promised. (See the Meetup event page.) The free will discussion. {…} Andrew and I laughed to one another when I encouraged him to eat pork (on Shabbat, no less). Charlie and Mitch handed me great compliments on my personality and sense of humor.

Commentary

• (on a friend’s screenshot) – Yeah, much better to have a real one.

• (on a Gotham Atheists event page) “Weather permitting we can grill.” ¶What’s the likelihood of grilling? Should I bring my meat instead of my nuts? … I’ll be going to Food Dynasty in my neighb, which means I’ll be holding my meat on the subway all the way there.

• (on a status in a group) – It’s okay to blame the Jews for this or any evil, so long as you refer to them as “Zionists.” … – How much you want Tibet? – Er, “to bet?” … – You’re so quick to blame being PC. It could have been a Macintosh!

• (on a screenshot in a group) – Wasn’t Pallas‐Tyne that television movie in which Tyne Daly played the goddess Pallas Athena? Or maybe I’m mixing it up with Pallas Doesn’t Live Here Anymore.
