Peter Foxton Craggs was born in Northumberland on April 10, 1949.
The best horse he rode was King Con, on which he won the 1978 Scottish Grand National.
He also won the 1993 Horse and Hound Cup Champions Hunters' Chase on Generals Boy.

Peter won the Morpeth Hunt Members Race at Tranwell in 1992, dressed as Baroness Hardup. He also won in 1994 on Park Slave. Peter won the same race a few times but he's probably the only jockey to win the same race dressed as a man and dressed as a woman.
