James Bradley was born in Shropshire around 1802 and became a leading jump jockey.
He rode in three Grand Nationals, finishing third on Jerry in 1847.
He began training at Hednesford but was dead within months.
Aged 46, he was buried at St Luke's Church in Cannock having passed away on April 27, 1849.
