Harry Chaloner was born on August 7, 1876, and began as an apprentice to Matthew Dawson in 1889.
Youngest of four jockey brothers - scored his first win in April 1893.
Rode 19 winners from 238 mounts in 1895.
In August 1896, he moved to Germany to ride for Baron Oppenheim.
