Jonathan Ashley Adams was born on August 13, 1964.
Aged 15, he became apprenticed to Geoff Lewis and rode his first winner, Tender Trader, at Nottingham in 1982.
His best win came on Solo Style when winning the Midlands Cambridgeshire on, Monday 25 August 1986.
On November 21, 1987, he married Amanda Jane.
Jonathan was keen on football and squash.
