Eric Bromfield

National Hunt jockey Eric Bromfield held a licence between 1964 and 1970 but rode just one winner during that time. That came aboard 9-2 chance North A’ Calling, trained at Tarporley by George Owen, in the Broughton (4yo) Novices’ Hurdle at Bangor-on-Dee on Saturday, October 14, 1967.

He subsequently emigrated to Australia where he continued his career riding over jumps and gained a fair measure of success.
