George Brown's final winner.

George made all the running on Santa Luna to win easily by a length. It was his 20th win of the season. He had just returned from a short suspension for failing to respect the starter at Kempton.
In the following race, the Sussex Plate, George rode Woodhouse. It was to be his final ride. With barely a furlong covered, George brcame involved in a scrimmage, and was thrown from his horse. He was taken to the Workhouse Infirmary, where his condition steadily grew worse. His parents were summoned from their home in Stockbridge.
On Saturday May 14, 1892, George won his only big race, the Jubilee Stakes at Kempton, on 20-1 shot Euclid, beating 20 others,
