Robert Biddlecombe

Robert Biddlecombe was the son of three-times National Hunt champion jockey Terry Biddlecombe.

In January 2000, Robert scored the first of a series of point-to-point wins on Rectory's Garden. He rode just eight times under Rules as an amateur and, in 2002, became a conditional rider with trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies.

Unfortunately, increasing weight forced him to retire.

Robert's first ride under Rules came at Exeter on 3rd May 2000 when riding Baby John in the Exeter University Amateur Riders' Handicap Hurdle for Mrs. Henrietta Knight.
