3rd Grade News

Dear Third Grade Parents,

Our Third Graders are risk-takers and determined as they participated in taking the Reading MAP test. 3B and 3C will take the Math MAP test next week and 3A finished the Math MAP test today. We encourage our students to stay focused as they read the instructions to be able to answer the questions logically. We remind them not to guess but to think critically.

This week, we have launched our TTT routines and students are excited working across the grade 3 level alongside different teachers who work on different areas of focus. Reading is a huge part of a student's life and we encourage our students to read aloud at home. Books help children build empathy and learn how to handle challenging situations.

Readers, we challenge you to start working on your reading space at home. Make sure you have your books, pencils, erasers, clean papers, colored pencils and a pair of scissors. Tell your stories, too.
