Kindergarten News

Hello dear families,

Students continue to show amazing growth in all of their areas. In Reading, they have been practicing being accountable partners by being able to sit hip to hip, listening to their partner read and then asking questions about the book. In phonics, they have become great word scientists. They study the letters by noticing if they have straight lines, curved lines, holes or no holes. In Math, they were introduced to a new math tool called "number rack". In Spanish, they had a mini celebration and were great presenters of their show and tell unit. We are excited to share some wonderful news regarding an exciting partnership with the prestigious University of California Berkeley. Please watch our introductory video provided by our literacy coach.

Consent forms were sent out today, Friday, October 13 alongside an introductory letter; If you would like for your child to participate, please send it by Wednesday, October 18th.

If you have any questions please contact Ms. Vivian Caldera at vcaldera@ans.edu.ni
