Showing empathy and supporting our friends and classmates is critical to having a positive classroom environment. In this lesson, we will play a game where we think about each other’s perspectives and ways we can show empathy and support.

What friends and learners are doing at school..

State what empathy and support are, and why they are important.

Use clues that you see in others to understand their perspectives.

Show empathy and support to my classmates, even if my perspective is different.

What friends and learners could be practicing at home...

Think back to your responses about empathy actions. What are your personal empathy strengths? How can you find more opportunities to use them?
