1st Grade News

Dear First Grade families,

Hello, First Grade Families!  What a great, first full week of learning tigers had. We are counting by 2's and 5's using popsicle sticks. We began writing small-moment stories and are working on the stamina to write more across pages. We are using all we know about letter formation to write the names of our friends and loved ones. Please remember 1st graders should be reading every day for 20-25 minutes then write about what they read in their Reading Response Notebooks. Looking forward to another week of growing together as readers, writers, and mathematicians.
