5th Grade News

Dear 5th-grade Families,

It was so wonderful to see you at our Tiger Experience. Next week is a short week! Monday, September 11th is a half-day, and dismissal will be at 12:30 noon. Please make sure your child is picked up from school on time since teachers will be engaged in a workshop shortly after dismissal. We will also have a few different activities to recognize Nicaraguan and Central American Independence Days. Students may wear blue and white or come in traditional Nicaraguan dress and they are also encouraged to bring a traditional Nicaraguan snack for themselves to enjoy during snack time. School will resume on Monday, September 18th, and our 5C students will start swimming that day. We will also have Big Questions Day on the 19th. We have upcoming weeks of amazing learning happening, but for now, enjoy the holidays!
