1st Grade News

Dear 1st Grade Families,

We had an unexpected short week, but FULL of learning! Mathematicians are learning that word problems can ask for different things, and they are developing strategies to solve them: read it, draw it, write and equation, write the answer of the question. On the other hand, readers finished the first reading unit: WORD DETECTIVES, and they are ready for the celebration with parents! It will be rescheduled for next week, so please stay tuned to the new date. Our Reading Celebration will now take place Friday, Nov. 10th. Looking forward to celebrate our readers with you!
