Kindergarten News

Good afternoon Kindergarten Families,

We just had another full week of learning. Students have been very busy learning and growing as super avid readers.

In phonics, they have been working with blends, digraphs and building words with snap words creating their own phonics booklet. In math, they have been learning to work out story problems and being able to show their work by drawing pictures and making a number sentence that matches their thinking. In Spanish, they started working on a project to convince people to take care of the planet earth.

Student led conferences are coming up and students are eager to show you everything they have learned throughout this last trimester in Kindergarten. Please make sure to read through the letter and click on the sign up sheet for a time slot.

Today we sent out the last Friday Feedback Folder of the school year.

Next week we will be celebrating teacher appreciation week.
