They will also be learning how the parts of the story go together, noticing what particular parts connect. And finally, they will compare and contrast characters' actions and behavior from books they have read.

Mathematicians will share their work with multi-step measurement problems in a math forum. The students will work with a partner on measuring story problems that require more than one step and one operation to solve.
