5th Grade News
Dear families,
Fifth-graders had an exciting learning experience and deepened their knowledge of birds during their field trip to La Concepción, Carazo. Now, they will use that knowledge to design and build a sustainable birdhouse to shelter the birds around school. We ask for your collaboration by sending recycled materials your child might use for this project.

Collaborate to think of new ideas, accomplish goals, and do things I can’t do alone.
Use Communication Boosters to plan, organize, and execute a collaborative task.
What friends and learners could be practicing at home...
Think about what Booster you use the least. What can you do to improve your use of that Booster? Think about what Blooper you use the most. What can you do to reduce your use of that Bloop?
Now choose one personal activity, such as helping a sibling with chores. How might using Boosters improve this activity or make it more enjoyable for everyone?
