1st Grade News

Dear 1st Grade Families,

This amazing week our first graders were deeply connected to building words, citizenship, two dimensional shapes and their Spanish celebration about “Reseñas”. They are sharpening their perception of the world, feeling confident, independent and eager to take on new challenges. The students are learning about their place in the world and how readers are all leaders.

Our tigers are graceful, moving with agility and harmony through friendships and independence. Their capacities are flowering in every area with the meaningful involvement of parents and teachers. It was great to work together during SLC to set new goals for Trimester 3 for our tigers. Remember we will continue with a second day of SLC (March 6th).

Thank you so much for your attendance and continued support.

All the best !

What friends and learners are doing at school...

Problems are a normal part of life and can lead to positive outcomes, such as learning from others, creating solutions one might not think of alone, and building better relationships. When solving problems, people may have different ideas about what the problem is or how to solve it, making it important to consider the perspective of others. In this lesson, students will learn to identify and name interpersonal problems and recognize that there can be various perspectives by answering problem-solving questions about a scenario.

What friends and learners could be practicing at home...

When you read a book with your child try to identify any conflict between the characters and you can identify different perspectives and people’s feelings about a problem, identify and state a problem in words or think of ways to solve problems when I listen to others
