Kindergarten News
Good afternoon Kindergarten Families,
Kindergarteners had a great week of learning. Next week students will get prepared to start our new reading unit, they will learn new routines such as using a reading mat, reading back to back and knee to knee. They will also learn how to book shop. Each student has a specific day of the week to shop for new books to have in their book baskets. In Spanish, they will start a new writing unit called show-and-tell. In phonics, they joined Mabel in a mini celebration by doing an ABC song parade around the classroom by stomping out the beats to names and changing beginning sounds to make silly names. In Math, students will launch into Unit 2: Numbers to ten click here for the Unit Overview.
