Chapter Two
Nathan was lying on their bed holding his breath as he felt his wife’s slim fingers unbuttoning and unzipping his pants. There was just something about her light, sensual touch that drove him wild and had him losing his breath. She had already discarded his T-shirt and had spent precious minutes lavishing her attention on his chest before slowly moving down his body.

“Me either, baby.” She said as she savoured his warmth. “I’m so glad I changed my mind and decided to stay.”
He smiled at her and planted a light kiss on her lips before moving a little lower to suck an area of her neck into his mouth. Bringing his teeth into play, he nibbled on it and couldn’t help chuckling at the little noises she was making. She was so cute. Her hands were wandering all over his back and it was his turn to gasp when he felt them slip under the waistband of his boxers and firmly knead his ass, bringing him even closer to her body.

Looking into her eyes, he saw the truth there and he smiled at her. “Okay, I’ll try not to ask again.”
“Good. Now, Mr Scott, hurry up and make love to me,” she demanded but ruined the effect by giggling afterwards.
“Yes ma’am,” he replied laughing with her.
Slowly raising himself up on his forearms, Nathan once again dropped light kisses all over Haley’s face before moving down to her throat and then her neck where he spent a few more moments marking her. “I wish we could stay here like this forever,” Haley confessed as she drew circles on his stomach with the tip of her index finger.
Squeezing her waist, he brought his hand up and threaded his fingers through her long, auburn hair. “Me too, baby. The sooner we tell everyone we’re married, the sooner that can become a reality.”
Looking up at him from her position, she planted a soft kiss on his chin. “I’m scared, Nathan. I’m scared that they’ll tear us apart once we tell them what we’ve done and that I’ll lose you.”
He held her even tighter after she said those words and he shook his head. “They can only tear us apart if we let them and I’m not going to let that happen. We just have to make them see that we love each other and that we’re in this for the long haul. I know we’re young but there’s no reason for this not to work, not if we put in the effort. We just have to convince everyone we’re serious.”
“Yeah, but they’re seriously gonna freak out. I think the worst one will be your dad. He’ll probably tell you I married you for your family’s money or something.”
Nathan leaned down and kissed her lips. “He can think whatever he wants to but we know the truth, Haley, and that’s all that matters.”
“I love you so much,” she said as she snuggled back into his warm embrace.
“I love you more,” he replied as he wrapped his arms around her.
They each smiled as they slowly succumbed to the pull of sleep, happy and content in each other’s arms.
