Author's Notes: Things to be aware of in this story: Lucas is 21, Nathan is 20 and Haley is 18. Lucas and Haley are best friends despite the age difference and she is also close to Nathan who sees her as something of a sister. Deb and Dan are the boys’ parents. Keith and Karen (Nathan and Luke's uncle and aunt) are married with a two year old daughter, Cassie. The story is set during the summer before Haley is due to start college.

This is an adaptation of the Roswell (Candy) story I wrote called ‘First Time for Everything’ and although some things will be pretty similar, it’s not a direct copy of that (although the final few chapters do borrow heavily from it). I just wanted to make this clear in case anyone has read that story and is confused. This story and that are my own work.
