I cannot believe this is the last day of school. I wanted to thank you all for helping make this an amazing year. I am going to miss all my 5th Grade GT LEADers next year, but know they are on to wonderful new things. I am already looking forward to next year with all the Gators.

Second Grade~ Students explored reasons why animals become endangered or extinct. Students analyzed the cause and effect relationships between deforestation, pollution, natural disasters, and extinction. They were then faced with a challenge as second grade GT LEAD Junior Archaeologists, to create an extinct animal that has at least one moving part  using only the supplies given and create a story that explains how it became extinct.
