Thank you for making Teacher Appreciation Week a memorable one. We all appreciate your generosity and kindness, but most of all, we are grateful that you trust us with your children daily.
They are a wonderful group, and we will miss them next year!
======================================================================================
This week we continued with EOY assessments and working with coins to compare and count values. We finished our annual read aloud of Charlotte's Web and watched the animated movie. Next week we will watch the other movie and compare them to one another as well as the book.
In ELAR we will be reviewing many of the skills we have learned this year as well as spelling and phonics patterns. As the year goes on, the expectations become more challenging, so please continue to read at home, listen to your child's articulation and correct any mispronunciations. This helps them recognize those same words and sounds in print and when listening to others speak or read.
During these last few weeks of school there are many fun events. Next week we are excited to hear from some parents about their careers (16th) and then follow the next week with Gator Games on the 19th.
Enjoying the last week of school
