We had an incredible week with your student!
Students have been working in Canvas and seem to be improving in their navigation skills and in terms of checking and submitting assignments.
We suggest you do the pairing feature in Canvas, which allows you to "observe" your child's classes to see their daily lessons and assignments and allows you to see what they have or have not turned in. We have placed a link below that will show you how to become an "observer" in your child's Canvas account.

Next Week : We will cover solutions. Solutions are a type of mixture where the matter is spread out evenly (mixtures = fruit salad, while solutions = iced tea). We will explore and experiment with different types of solutions and how to create and separate them into their parts.
This Week : We began Unit 2 - American Indian Life in Texas. We learned about different tribes of Native Americans, how they lived, what they experienced, and compared tribal lifestyles and their lives to ours today.
Next Week : We will explore and discuss Native American culture by region (including pottery, homes, leaders), their governmental systems, major economic/trade factors, and use diagrams to compare and contrast our findings.
