Reading & Language Arts:
I can make inferences about a poem.
I can identify the elements of poetry.
I can explain the different types of poetry.
I can use my knowledge of root words to determine the meaning of unknown words.
I can identify and gather relevsnt information from a variety of sources.
3rd Grade Math:
I can determine the area of a figure using a grid.
I can break apart a rectangle to find the area.
I can solve word problems that require me to find the area of rectangles.
Science:
I can identify the order of the planets in Earth's solar system in relation to the Sun.
Social Studies:
I can identify ways of earning, spending, saving, and donating money.

Grapevine-Colleyville ISD adopted an electronic flyer distribution program called Peachjar a few years ago. With this system, flyers from community organizations will be distributed through a weekly email and accessible through the school websites. This is part of the district's ongoing effort to focus resources on education while reducing the environmental impact of our activities.
