Kindergarten~ Introduction to the Depth & Complexity Icons

Kinder GT LEADers were first introduced to the details icon. They looked for details in our story then connected with details about ourselves. Student then filled in flowers about themselves. Finally kids turned and talked to their neighbor, and shared a detail about themself.

  First Grade~Game Maker

Students are gaining an understanding of the Design Thinking Process and how it relates to creating games.

Fourth Grade~ Enigmas

Students investigate a naturally occurring enigma, an unsolved mystery. Each student will explore, in depth, an enigma and hypothesize possible solutions while using the research process. 

Fifth Grade~ Geometric Wonders

 Geometry is a branch of mathematics that studies the size, shape, and position of 2-dimensional shapes and 3-dimensional figures.  Geometry can be found in art, architecture, engineering, robotics, astronomy, sculptures, space, nature, sports, machines, cars, and much more. Patterns in nature are visible regularities of form found in the natural world. Patterns recur in different contexts and can sometimes be modeled mathematically. Through numbers, LEADers are gaining a better understanding of natural phenomena.
