This week, students began working on their game board novel projects, and will continue to work on them for the last couple of weeks of school. Students chose a novel they have read or are reading and bring it to class in order to create a game based on the novel.
Baby Kelly is here!
Beau was born on May 6th at 11:05am. He is 6lbs 2oz of pure perfection! Mrs. Kelly and sweet Beau are both doing great!
Next Week: Spy Week! We will review 4th grade math concepts through spy challenges and escape rooms.

***Students are allowed to retake ALL assignments. If you see your child has made below a 70, they can ask to redo for a max grade of 70. ALL Spiral Reviews have unlimited attempts so they can retake them as many times as they need for a max grade of 100.***
This Week : We continued our magnetism investigation and we ended the week by learning about the forces of gravity. Gravitational forces change how we interact with our world on a daily basis.
Next Week : We will finish gravity and its influence on our world. We will study/review for the last science edugence test on Tuesday May 20th.
This Week : We learned about the culture of Texas and celebrate our differences. This includes the languages, architecture, religions, foods, clothing, arts, and celebrations across Texas. Students collaborated with a partner to draw themself/a representation of their culture as one half of a person, and their partner will complete the other half.
Next Week : We will learn about our last few influential Texans, including Lydia Mendoza, Florence McClung, Julius Bledsoe, Selena Quintanilla-Perez, Larry McMurty, Chelo Silva, Karle Wilson Baker, and Rick Riordan.
